Since the big 3 have become so popular due to the improved treasure chests, I figure I’d just lob out a suggestion to see if it’s possible to “ease” the strain on some servers.

You start with Pre-Events in the open world, however, at the conclusion of the Pre-Events, a Portal opens up. The portal remains active for 5 minutes. When people click on the portal, they get ported to an Instanced version of the zone (say Frostgorge).

This Instanced version could have a softcap of 20 people per shard, with people who grouped together getting the ability to “Join in” to exceed the softcap.

The Instanced version could also have the red crosshatching that indicates if you’re stepping outside of the mission area.

If this is a solution to make the game playable again getting rid of these partwise more and more often to appear insane lags, then I’m absolutely for this !!

These lags started to become a true plague, since guestign has been implemented and more and more people seem to have recognized, that it can be abusively “exploited” i want to say here at this point, to massively farm the dragon events…

I truly believe, that this is a reason, why server get totally overloaded with data fluctuations from all those countless server hopping guests, that the lag appears alsmost always at the prime time of 18 o’ clock+, when most people are ingame, as they are back from work/school ect.

Personally I like the idea behind sub classes ~ quoted from Chris Whiteside
