Is there any possibility to showcase voxel-like technology to integrate the game?
For example – one of the features if it works in EQ Next, players can decide the changes in the world through environmental destruction, housing, landmarks, etc. and its permanent and according to the director no server will be the same. GW2 has dynamic events, but its more or less cyclic and temporary impact the world and then resets. Even though living story does a good job pacing, rest of the world is very static.
I know the engine can’t be rewritten, but I don’t know if features can be added on (not a programmer) maybe have a possible beta phase of integrating similar EQ Next sandbox features in an instance map east of Kessex Hills and west of Lion’s Arch.
