Inventory and Storage security improvements.
I agree with having a pin to access bank and storage , even would be good for guild stash , deep cave etc.. even a crummy game like runescape has the bank pin on screen keypad, they even randomize the the keypad arrangement each time to thwart key/mouse loggers. Would have been great for our guild when one of our guild mates got hacked and they cleaned out his bank and a large portion of our guild stash

Not only that, how about a onscreen keypad for the login screen. The screen before you log into GW 2 then play from there on, the PIN system should include symbols and letters. So the hackers wont know the combination, since most PIN systems are just 4 numbers. 8 would be nice, that would make it way harder to crack than a 4 digit PIN system.
Keeping this post alive so Arena will consider this option.
Just keeping this post alive so it wont be burried and forgoten.
Bumping up this post.
..very annoying to have to enter a password every time I open my inventory.. Not gonna happen…

So you rather have everything you worked hard for stolen?

The thing is, there is no difference between having a password entered once and having it entered countless times.
You could make it a voluntary option, where, upon logging in, you need to enter a password to access the bank or move stuff in the inventory. Just once. I already know games that do this.
But really, having it every single time you want to open the inventory, even if to just check how many Porous Bones you have? That’s not only dumb, but it doesn’t work. If they crack the password once, it’s cracked, asking for it again isn’t going to change anything.
anet has already some good security features like the one when you log on from a different IP, it will send an authentication email to the owners email address.
I had this happen once, someone from a foreign country tried to log on.. I disallowed it and changed my password.

I recieved no notification of the 2 hackers trying to log into my account, so what does that mean?

I will never have anything stolen, because I am not an idiot. I have a secure password.

I have a secure password also, and yet they walts in and destroyed/sold/stole all my things just like that.
How? I use the max password length, a password that is randomly generated and contains extended ASCII chars. I have never been hacked.

You can use Ascii chars for a password? Most games wouldnt let you do that.
You can. The launcher lets you do it. You can even use ASCII chars in the game. Some chars you can type in via NumPad and others you have to paste in from Char Map.
