I really think it would be worthwhile to hire some online GMs. These people could quickly respond to botting and remove the offending players from the game world and notate the accounts for later banning. Most of the older MMO’s had this sort of online service, usually provided by players themselves who were volunteering. There are HUGE groups of botters in various areas around the map. I report each one in the group. tends to be 10+ people, but there has to be a better way.

Blocking up the scenery, tagging my mobs
Do this, don’t do that, can’t you ban the bots?
