Particularly useful to the RP community this one but still valid for everyone else.

I am standing watching people blatantly ruin the RP of another guild by dancing and fooling around in between their military lines and it’s really annoyed me.

They were deliberately talking spam across the speech of the RPers to make it more difficult for them to follow.

This is really unfair in my opinion. They are ruining other peoples game for their own amusement and I think while block removes their text, it would be much better if block also removed their character from our vision.

While this example is a specific reasoning, there are multiple reasons why this is a good addition to the game including harassment, gold sellers etc etc.

I posted a suggestion for separate RP instances of public places and a majority vote should be able to kick any kitten-hater from the the instance.

Right click their health bar and report for griefing.

I literally only just started rping in the game yesterday, and I really enjoyed it. So now I understand why there all of these concerns for RPers.

I really like the invisible player suggestion, however that would make animation quite odd if you were in a battle, and one of the blocked individuals was fighting a monster, haha. I like robinsiebler’s suggestion with the separate RP instances.

i would love to join an RP server bro, wich server is that one my english is average if you dont mind i would love to join your guild and server.

Tarnished Coast is heavy RP for US, and Piken Square is where many EU RPers go. You can check guildwars2roleplayers.com forums for a list of RP guilds.

I would love to remove griefers from my ken, including their visuals. I don’t want RP instances because then you can’t get new people wandering by, seeing the RP, and joining in.

Remember to report the griefers you see. ANet will take action if what you report is accurate and actually counts as griefing rather than ignorance.

Yeah I see the invisible combat would be weird. It’s a sacrifice I’d be ok with though. they could be visible while in combat or some crazy system I’m sure ArenaNet could come up with were they to try.

The server idea is good for certain places but it could/would be abused by larger guilds wanting the area to themselves for private RP sessions. It could also encourage not RPing out in the world which I think is some of the best stuff.

Piken Square is the unofficial RP server for EU. head that way if your server isn’t providing. I believe the large percentage of us are there although there are still pockets dotted about on other servers. The more we have over here the more we can push ArenaNet to make us official.

Tarnished Coast is the unofficial RP server. There are a slew of RP guilds there. I also recruit for Looking For Role Play (LFRP) which is not a guild, but rather a chat board for people to post/look for people to RP with.
