Any word on whether or not they will reintroduce the molten pickaxe or a similar item?

A-net has stated that all content has potential to reappear or have a more permanent place in the game as the “living story” developes.

First we have to get an axe before the pick can even be looked at for a return. But it’s probable that some time in the far future they will make something like that again.

Yeah, the molten pick is likely no more. But some other living story themed pick may well appear in the future.

Any chance they could make this available in the Mystic Forge?

It would make sense financially to cycle through these items (obviously themed with the current story) with every living story addition, because there will always be new players that will buy this. It was a genius addition to the gem store and perhaps the most appropriate item to be purchasable with gems to date.

By cycle through, I mean have a pick/sickle/axe available at every living story addition.

Yeah I agree with that but it’d be nice if it were transferable within an account.
