It's called "Guild Wars"
Man I’d love for them to actually create a “Guild War” fight. A full guild max cap at 40 put into a smaller 1v1 version of WvW for 8 hours. If someone has to leave then a guildie who is queuing can join in. That would be sick as heck!
Okay so here are some ideas:
1. Add party queuing of some sort- while this may be a quick fix to the problem, it will also mean that players will have to sit around for a long time hoping that the perfect number of players will exit WvW so that there party can get in, which can create even longer queue times, which is just ridiculous since queue times can already take well over an hour. I had an experience one time in which I was in the queue for 4 hours straight before i got in, which by this time I was out of time and needed to get off GW2.
2. Make a sort of Guild vs Guild server- this may sound stupid and the implementation of it as I describe can be very difficult, but this is just an idea. Make some GvG servers, on which it could be virtually identical to the other servers PvE wise, however PvP in the PvE part of the server is allowed. This would make it so that only those in your guild/party can be trusted (also implement a guild alliance system so small guilds wouldn’t get screwed over). Then divide the maps into smaller zones, where if the zone is controlled by a guild/alliance they get bonuses in the controlled zone, i.e. cheaper waypoints, repairs, items, crafting bonuses, and bonuses for the guild/alliance as a whole, similar to how WvW benefits the server as a whole. In these servers players could lvl up, much in the same way they can in WvW. Of course there would also have to be designated “Safe” zones where players caan not kill each other like inside a city that’s its own map area or something like that.
Any ideas anyone else can think of would be awesome.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to reading other peoples comments.

That would be awesome as well! I just really feel like there should be a way for Guilds to band together, or destroy each other, in the same way WvW works.
Well discussing housing I though of the idea of having in-world guild halls or barracks. A fixed number dotted across the world. Guild can then compete against each other to own one of these halls/barracks. It gives a bit of incentive.
Otherwise a server ranking system could be put into place, so that guilds can compete for top place.

They’re not likely to do that at all. The PvP is kept separate from the PvE, if you’ve noticed. PvP comes in many forms, not just outright combat. If they created nodal Guild Halls in the actual game world, and even if the competition was through some kind of non-combat system, they’d be moving PvP into the game world.
I’d also like to have player built guild cities like in Shadowbane.
have a frontier zone seperate from everything else where guilds can fight over resources and defend your city.
Not sure how long end game wpvp is going to hold interest with one map, albeit a large map.
