I’ve seen much loving and much hating on jumping puzzles, I personally love them.

I would like to hear your opinion about a neverending jumping puzzle (like fractals of the mists being a neverending dungeon).

We already have a small jumping puzzle that like that in Metrica province but taking it even further could be pretty fun.

The way i see it the same basic idea of fractals could be applied, every 10 levels the difficulty gets increased by adding different traps (causing conditions and even agony, involuntarily teleportations and such), enemies (increasing in difficulty up to soloable champions), hazzards (health draining effects like hunger/frostbite, deadly walls chasing you like the clockwork tower)

It would be a solo adventure but maybe a choice between solo and group would be even better.

Any ideas and opinions are welcome!

And here I thought I couldn’t hate JPs anymore haha.
Anyway, sounds like a really cool idea, but it is certainly not something I would like to participate in, though I’m sure plenty of players would!

This sounds really neat. I’d like it to start easy but get very difficult slowly so a lot of people would participate. There could even be branching paths for people who are maybe better at types of jumps or types of traps, etc.

I came to expect another whine thread about the kite achi in Obsidian Sanctum.

From baby easy to kaizo jump & run. Huhu that sounds like a challenge for me and few friends of mine. And if those that are good jump & run gamers get some cool stuff like you get good stuff from FotM. Oh that’d be too awesome.

Well going on a tangent here, but there already is an unfinished jumping puzzle in/underneath Caledon Forest. Vexx’s Lab has several unused chambers, that could be used to make it even longer. I’d love to see them finish this content and add the missing chambers to the JP.

BTW, I like this idea of JP Fractals. But I definitely would want to do that with a team. Don’t make it a solo affair.

Like a guild jumping puzzle but instead for a group of 1-5 people.
