Just a few needed suggestions!
All of these points have been talked about quite thoroughly in previous threads.
The previewing issue is I believe currently in the works and for the other two, Anet has remained neutral about what they are going to do with it.

Thats ashame considering there very obvious points and save alot of messing around.
The reason some classes can’t change weapons during combat, like the Elementalist, is because the Elementalist already has more skills than most classes have because the Elementalist can switch between the 4 different attunements. Hope this helps.
Hi there unsure if this as been posted before but me and a friend were discussing a few things that could do with adjusting for the better.
1. When searching up armor on the Black Lion Trading Company it would be nice if we would select the class type in the filter options example Light, Medium or Heavy, it would save browsing through all class sets.
2. When taking what you have bought from the Black Lion Trading Posts it should allow you to take a particular item rather than having to take all at once.
3. When browsing Armor to purchase from the Black Lion Trading Company you should make an option to preview the item before buying it (you see a low lvl shield up for sale going for over a gold but you cant see why and can’t preview the skin to see if thats why the price is so high).
4. Allow us to change weapons during combat, sometimes when mid combat i would like to change from my scepter and focus to my staff for the aoe’s and keep my distance but it doesn’t allow you to change between weapons mid combat.
Thank You
Danny
1: Good idea.
2: Maybe, but why?
3: This has been said a million times.
4: You can change weapons durring combat. Unless you’re an elementalist or an engineer.
So shines a good deed in a naughty world.

@Scyrka Thats not the point some of the skills regardless of there attunement arent really that useful in some situations, and sometimes you feel that during mid battle you could do with the staff more than what you could with the other weapons at hand, so it would be nice if you could go into you invent and switch the weapon over mid combat, it doesnt really have anything to do with the attunements, but thank you for the response.
@Nels 2. say you buy a ton bunch of items from the Black Lion Trading and you get one of them for a specific char but yet to have it you need to take every item when you don’t need every item which you have purchased.

As it stands elementalists already have 20 different skills, whether they are useful to you or not, and you want that changed to 40 when every other class gets 10?

Solution to that problem: Only buy the items you need.
Say you have an elementalist, and a ranger. You see a bunch of stuff you want on your ranger, and you buy it. You see a staff you want on your elementalist, so you switch characters, and buy it with your elementalist.
Second solution to that problem: Bank the item.
You buy the staff, and all the ranger goods, and throw the staff in the bank for your elementalist to pick up.
Third solution to that problem: Mail
You buy the staff, and all the ranger goods, and mail the staff to your elementalist.
So shines a good deed in a naughty world.

@Nels Seriously? a total pointless waste of time.
I definitely agree with the idea of previewing an item’s appearance on the black lion trading company. It would be really handy to know exactly how an item will appear on you (especially armor) so you can buy items for transmutation.

Which is because a balance issue which quite frankly I agree with, I play a bit of pvp as all classes and ele’s are crazy if you’re good at element swapping you can just pump damage like your mother wouldn’t even ….
also, no one cares about engineers they have no business in a sword/shield game….
Ele’s are already one of the strongest classes without the ability to change weapons. All weapons the Ele has give him some form of AoE attack, ranged attack, or healing, I don’t think the changing weapons will do anything but ruin their balance with other classes. If you are having trouble fighting without switching weapons I suggest changing utility skills, or just generally learning how to use your class better.
