This topic has been beaten over and over and for the most part I concur with the majority of people who oppose mounts. I do, however, like ArenaNet’s cosmetic mount (the riding broom) and wish that they’d add more of THOSE types of things, perhaps unavailable to the cash shop for people to have some sort of end game besides dungeons and legendaries to do and work for. Little things like these /cosmetic/ items that ANet likes to add to their game would be fantastic by my standards. Having already gotten my legendary I no longer have anything to do with my main besides wait for the weekly reset on guild missions to slowly work towards my ascended earrings. I’m not asking specifically for cosmetic mounts, but rather something along these lines that progresses my character. (Being forced to be an altoholic isn’t my game. I’ve never made alts in any other game because I like to invest in my one main character).
To sum it all up, mounts are a no, and will never be added. However, perhaps ANet will see that this is just another cosmetic option that gives us yet another thing to progress towards that offers nothing but cosmetic items to show off.
