Guild Wars 2

I was just wondering if there is a reason Anet included a vast array of weapons including 2 handed versions of the hammer and sword … but no 2 handed Axe?

I personally think a Norn warrior with a 2 handed axe would like pretty freakin cool myself..

most Definatley i would get on board for that i was wondering it myself and perhaps crossbows …. we can use guns so it would be feasible

They have mentioned that they wanted to save some weapon types for expansions, specifically mentioning the 2h axe. So, their answer is, someday.

There is a quest in the lowlands I think it was where you had to cut little trees down and burn the branches. When you went to cut the trees your regular woodcutting axe was replaced with a very nice 2h axe model. The axe looked alot like the dawnguard axe in skyrim. Might be a little teaser of things to come.

I wish they focused more on making weapons of that visual quality instead of some of the goofy looking models that seem to be so popular.
