Guild Wars 2

I know there are a lot of posts/debates about mounts in this game. I don’t care, I’m adding my 2 cents.

From a purely roleplaying standpoint, I would love it if there were mounts in this game other than that stupid broom. There aren’t witches- why a flying broom? Horses and dolyaks and things like that would be nice. Maybe with a tiny speed boost just to feel like you have a little more momentum than a pedestrian. Not even necessarily to move through the game faster, but just to make it feel a little more realistic. I mean, what kind of hero tromps around everywhere on foot? Really? Come on, now. I’m not even asking for anything exotic or alien. Just a few native critters you can ride around on.

Also, town clothes. The purpose, I assume, is to enhance the roleplay experience. Well, variety is key on that score. Only having 2 outfits you can switch between is kinda boring. Call me a diva, but I would appreciate my alts not all having to wear the same outfit. That gets tedious. Maybe a cute little shop in major cities that sells specialty town clothes or something. SOMETHING. And I know about the gem store, thank you. But that’s not much better. Suggestion: make available clothes that NPCs wear. Again, I just think it would be more realistic to have more selection in your wardrobe in keeping with style trends in the different locations. Say, instead of Jack Sparrow costumes and boxing gloves. Or maybe in addition to those things.

Also. And this is a huge pet peeve. Can we make the pet names stick instead of having to rename our pets each time we switch them out? I don’t think that would be a huge sacrifice, and it would make it feel more like a pet than just an extra weapon. It’s a huge pain renaming them every time I switch out an inactive pet.
