Since a while I’ve been getting karma jugs, at like lvl10 and up, giving me up to 5000
karma per pop. Events give like 70 karma at my level.. isn’t this a little imbalanced? It
kinda removes the thrill of doing events so you can get that next karma vendor item,
now you just pop a jug and you can buy anything you want x50 (at low level).

Maybe karma jugs should scale up and down with level? Or if that’s too difficult to
code, only give karma jugs starting at a much higher level so you don’t walk around
with 40K karma going to karma vendors that sell items for 170 karma per piece.

not imbalanced because you will need every sinlgle bit of that Karma. You are getting something good, why complain? We did not have jugs at first, they seem to have pop up after the Halloween Event.

I have one level 80 sitting 2 Exotic Pieces short to be in full Extoic and 37.000 Karma under his belt. Guess what? 37.000 is not enough for 1 piece. So just be happy you are getting the Extra Karma.

I don’t know about you, but I remember when I was like level 5 that I found a handful of NPCs that had sold Rares for karma, but the costs were like 40,000-60,000 a piece and they were like level 40.

And honestly, getting that much Karma by level 40 isn’t realistic at all. Similarly, if you wanted Karma at level 80 to buy the temple exotics, you would need to farm events for quite a while. Also, the karma jugs spreads out people a bit, since they’re not just sitting at some repeating event farming Karma.

I spent around 630k karma on the balt temple to other day… that is far from enough.

Fact is , dont worry , you may think it is imbalanced right now. But when you get to 80 (if take a normal amount of time , not lvl 1/day and do daily) , you will notice … you need much more than 1 million karma.

Stockpile your karma jugs until you have kittenload of them then wait until your guild has a 15% karma buff up and then pop a 50% karma booster.

Now glug down the gallons of karma from those jugs!

You need 525k karma for crafting ONE legendery(if i remember correct),each armor piece you can buy with karma at lvl80 is around 50k-80k and u have maybe 70k u said?gl!

Yep. I’m stockpiling all of my Karma Jugs (as well as Drops of Karma) in my account until a character needs a big infusion of karma for a purchase. Then it’s drop a banner, use a karma booster and SLUG all those puppies down!

I would like to see even more Karma in that jug then what they give. Because let me tell you something, at 80 Karma is a precious, precious thing, you will need every single bit of it, and at 80 you burn through it pretty fast. So the more you have, the way better off you will be later down the road.

If anything, events need to give you a lot more karma than they currently do.

Also hearts should give you karma, I have no idea why they currently don’t.

The reason it works the way it does is because the daily and monthly achievements are account-wide – they can only be completed once per account, not per character, and to keep players playing alts and not getting bored, any character on your account can contribute to achieving it.

For this reason, the reward also has to be account bound. If you accidentally claimed the reward on the wrong character, or accidentally used a jug on the wrong character and wasted the karma, you would be annoyed. If you used a jug on your alt assuming it would give you the same as your main and it didn’t, you would be annoyed.

The jugs were brought in to make getting your legendary a little easier. It’s mostly aimed at people who already have level 80s. It’s kind of moot, because you can complete maps as you level up and earn enough karma easily to buy an upgrade where ever you go, and the cultural items have the same stats as any other rare, so having a lot of karma at a lower level isn’t OP anyway. There’s nothing OP you can do with it that you couldn’t have done anyway.
