Please make karma gear you get in orr account bound with soul bound on use or make it where a profession can not get gear outside there class because i encountered a bug where i thought i was buying medium armor for my ranger and it actually ended up being heavy armor and let me tell you i was not too happy about losing over 100,000 karma and having useless heavy armor that i cant use with my ranger or any of my characters but if arenanet made them account bond with soul bound on use it would much better. There are big red flags that go up when you mouse over armor that your character can’t use for any reason. Basically you’re complaining because you didn’t pay enough attention, which really isn’t ANet’s fault, nor is it the fault of the system.

On that same note, if the gear is nontransferable anyway, there really is no reason to let you access gear you can’t use. Unfortunately, though, this would have significant ramifications across the game, since it would take a redesign of how vendors work. Unless you only want to change things for one vendor, which is kind of a waste of resources.

Just pay more attention next time. If you are about to spend 100k karma… look at what you’re buying. If Anet removed inventory you can’t use from vendors it would 1) make them unpreviewable, 2) make it so that you wouldn’t know what a vendor really had unless you visited it with multiple characters (light, medium, heavy, any weapons)

Umm if i can go to a karma vendor and buy peaches with my lvl 80 ranger for my lvl 46 toon to use for leveling chef then i see no difference so the armor needs to be account bound! Thanks and goodbye lol

That sounds like a bug, not a fault in the system. You should make a report to fix the problem, not a suggestion to change the whole design.

Regardless, I’m pretty sure you just messed up and bought the wrong thing.

I reported as a bug and they told me to come here fyi they said they had no way of fixing my bug. Im very aggravated and months work in karma down the drain.

Arenanet just make the freaken karma gear ACCOUNT bound like all karma items problem solved because I’m not going away until this problem is addressed lol
