Hah; in thinking about it, this seems like a no brainer. Drop 75% of the dolyak’s cargo. (25% would have been destroyed in the fire fight)

I thought it was the primary reason to steal from Dolyak’s cargo when I first started playing. So I would agree.

Ehm, I’m not quite sure, gonna check that… But I think I got 5 supply from a dolyak when I killed it and had no supply with me for the moment!

I have gotten supply before.

Basically you kill the dolyak, then there is a small chance for it to drop a rare (yellow) supply package. This package can drop even when you have full supply. And looting it will give you 5 supply (up to your current maximum hold rate, be it 10 or 5)

so in theory yes, you can get supply for killing dolyaks. I wouldnt count on it though.

I haven’t seen this before.
I would say in between 50-75% of the total supply carried should be dropped as it would be found in a depot.

This would be an epic feature, I’ve had times where fellow players in WvW needed supply to siege a keep or tower, generally we attack a supply camp, however this alerts the enemy we are there.

Taking down a supply dolyak is much more tactical, it’s far easier to overlook.
It also makes sense as a form of realism
