Some of us made Celestial purely as a slightly-less-selfish Magic Find set.

Martin Kerstein on MF changes:
Celestial will stay as it is minus the MF bonus on it.
MF food will work as it is working now.
Utility Infusion will still work.

I, for one, only chose Celestial because of the Magic Find.

It was worse than Zerker, but since I mainly intended to do open-world stuff, I went with the Celestial.

Now it won’t have Magic Find.

Now it is just weaker than other options I would have chosen with no perks.

Any item with magic find on it should be given the chance to re-roll, since we all made the decision to choose that item with Magic Find in mind.

I think all magic find items should just be deleted to punish those who shamelessly leeched off others for months.

Don’t forget MF isn’t just going away, leaving a hole behind. It’s being replaced with something. How about waiting to find out what that is before complaining about choices you made on your own, regardless of the reasoning behind them.

So… actually, everything you said is wrong. It is leaving a hole behind. If it were replaced by another stat or buffed, I wouldn’t care.

I am, but i’m talking about this in other thread. More because i don’t like seeing items they’ve just introduced getting nerfed so nonchalantly, that for the reroll part.

I agree. Just replace it with boon duration. Right now the only armor that gives boon duration is giver’s, and it has no offensive stats at all.

As an aside I’m really glad that none of the new prefixes have boon duration, and it’ll be a real treat to have a new prefix that’s basically just a worse form of zerker’s.

Yeah, they literally came out with a brand new magic find set, and then like two weeks later announced magic find was getting removed and that they would do their best to avoid screwing people over.

And then the new magic find set they released doesn’t get to re-roll. Because Celestial wasn’t a magic find set…

i for one am very upset celestial didn’t get a reroll. I took it taking the MF into account in my build, and now it is no longer a part of it. I’m stuck with nearly 200 laurels worth of ascended that i don’t want to use, because it’s no longer part of my build.

Why just convert mf from celestial in boon duration?
