Guild Wars 2

When on an alt it’s sometimes nice to see if any parties are doing instances that my other character may like, but if my alt is not in this level range I cannot even SEE if their are any parties LFG so I have to relog just to check every single time.

why make it like this?
why not just disable the join button to parties doing content above your level, won’t this make more sense?

My guess is because you can instantly find a group and join it as soon as you’re ready. That is, being logged in with the character that can actually do the dungeon.

Although I would support having this as a toggleable option.

It was probably made this way to avoid to have level 9 people to randomly join for something they don’t even have a clue what it is and end up insta-kicked, or kicked as soon as team realizes they are not going to switch. Happened even before, many times for AC to have new players randomly joining parties just because they see everyone else asking for it.
