Yes, a tooltip on the mini-map and the big map that tells you the destination on mouse hover. I suggested this waaaaaaay back in the Betas. Rata Sum is still super-confusing until you run right up to jumping-through distance.

To be fair, the gates do show you where they are going but you need to be very close and be holding control down.
Please fix the above for obvious reasons. Well, I guess it wasn’t obvious to whomever thought it was a good idea and those who agreed it should be implemented:
It’s almost completely useless and it is completely inconvenient / wasted effort. If you are going to take the time to do a job, do it right. Make the signs bigger and not so we have to hold ctrl down.
