With tarnish coast being full, and the influx of new players., Now is the perfect opportunity to direct them to a second RP server as well as allow transfers who are seeking in rp server.
I I am fairly certain that the players have not organized and decided upon a second server, so arena net is free to pick a server. Arena nets, I would suggest using one of the lowest population servers so that there is plenty of room to accommodate and we don’t have a situation like we did and still do with tarnish coast being full.
So please forum mod, pass the word onto the team that now is the greatest time to designate and label server as rp in the selection list.
Respond and up a vote this post I really hope it gets their attention, because it would improve the game play experience for so many players.
The players labeled it as an RP realm. The biggest issue is that they advertised it by saying people are out in zones doing DE’s, like Balthazarr, which is downright amazing, but sad for a lot of realms. I haven’t seen it uncontested or rarely see other players out and about in several realms.
Sea of Sorrows, Northern Shiverpeaks, Anvil Rock and now Darkhaven. I wish we as players could encourage it more, but everyone’s put off by DR and bugs in the zones, they’d rather farm dungeons, zerg WvW for karma and do FOTM.
Talk to people there, try to get a push for another server. Maybe you can start a satellite community for those that cannot or do not want to get into TC.
There is no official RP server. But there really doesn’t need to be another one. It doesn’t take that long to get into Tarnished Coast. I just bought the game late weds night and was in the server in less than 12 hours. My friend bought it thursday and got in around 10pm est. Just try often and you’ll get right in.
Does that not mean US players can’t transfer there? I’ve played on a few US servers, and there is little, if no difference in ping.
If there are any US Role-players who can’t get into Tarnished Coast, and it seems impossible at this point to get in anyway, I’d recommend them to head over to Piken Square to help boost the population a little.
I’m on Piken Square, we have several americans on the server so it shouldn’t be a problem for anyone and since most of the RP happen quite late in the evening/night there should be RP during your peak hours.
