If I had known that items purchased in WvW cannot be salvaged or thrown into the forge I would not have bought them.

Please make a comment on the item description of something so that we know. Even rings say “unique”

I agree. I wouldn’t have bought and put runes on my WvW armor if I had known I couldn’t get them back. Or give us a salvage kit that will just strip off the runes and sigils from now salvageable items.

A little sidetrack. Does anyone know if transmuting the runes onto a blue/green armor piece will make it where I can salvage off the runes?

Yes. You can do that.

Cool thanks. Didn’t know if they patched where you can’t do that anymore. I searched for it but the last post was from a few months ago.

Oops. It didn’t work for everything. I don’t know why. More mystery nonsense.

AHHHHH! So confused now. I guess I’ll just have to burn a crystal to figure it out. Unless someone knows for sure that you can’t.

I bit the bullet and tried it. It works for WvW armor as well. So glad I can finally get my runes back. But, it sucks that I had to buy crystals to do so.
