Guild Wars 2

In my honest opinion Guild Wars 2 is lacking some pretty key features.. YA! You read correct.

One thing before I get to a more realistic list I would like to express something!

1. I look at all the great instances, and all the great world bosses, and WvWvW. Instances are great and all I LOVE THEM! Yet world bosses and WvWvW seem like a giant ‘zerg fest" (had to say it) I know it’s not ALWAYS like that, but most of it ‘seems’. Now lets take those 3 and put them into a scene that is more like a Guild vs World Boss scenario. How does that sound? – A more organized and large scale instance that scales and is challenging to a great degree and can be overcome by cooperation. Meaning it takes interaction and realization of surroundings to defeat the enemy.

2. Honestly we need ‘Guild Wars’ like the name of the game suggests.

3. I can’t inspect other players, “WTF is this guy wearing?”

4. Not being able to duel , “Yo bro wanna duel” (player joined your game)

5. Cant queue for pvp with a group, "hey lets join server 99 – well your on the other team.. GL HF!

6. No Channel selection for Overflow maps, would make it a lot easier. (the current system hides the channels.. but I know you’re still there..)

Less meaningful suggestions..
- Not being able to trade character to character
- No world pvp (we all know this wont and cant happen)
- No /who feature like WoW, too spy high level people
- cant see half the levels of people on my friends list.

1. This is an MMO. You’re going to get that.

2. Read the lore. It’s been stated MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNYYYY times by ArenaNet why the game is called Guild Wars and if it wasn’t a sequel, GW2 would probably not even have that in the title. Guild Battles would be nice, but the best you’re going to get is 8v8 in PvP or set up a tournament. We only ever had 8v8 in GW1.

3. Ask them. There isn’t really THAT many armour sets in the game and after a while it becomes pretty obvious what they’re wearing.

4. This would be nice and if you weren’t so ignorant you’d know ArenaNet is “considering” it.

5. This is kind of to prevent people hot-joining matches as an elite team of 8 and jsut stomping everyone. That kind of PvP is just meant to be for fun. The real deal is Tournaments.

6. No. No. No.

To your other suggestions:
-No. This allows for scamming, if they just lower the cut they take out from the AH it would be fine (15% total is just stupid. It should be 5% total. At least let me make money)
-Seriously? Go to WvW, it’s the exact same thing.
-I don’t know what that even is, but if you like it so much, go back to WoW
-However over their name when they’re online.

What does “god kitten” even mean.. take that back to hello kitty island!
I can say what ever I want, but if you want to start a fight you might as well go down to your local bar because this is a forum.

@Warp: Kitten is the language filter that ArenaNET uses to replace perceived (sometimes incorrectly) profane or vulgar words.

1. This idea is a direct opposite to a major design philosophy. What part of "just go play" includes waiting and organizing a large force of people?
2. Guild Wars, like the name suggests, were a historical event in the lore. I really wish people would understand this, because it’s getting incredibly old to explain.
3. Ask the guy what he’s wearing. In a game where gear=skins, and skill>gear, adding inspection just seems like a great way to go back to not letting people in to content based on gear scores...
4. Dueling is never balanced and PvP is never structured around 1v1 fights.
5. Tournaments. Tadaa!!!! Yeah, you can.
6. Nobody cares about overflows, as the general hope is that they will go away as soon as people get off of the full servers and spread out.

- This is intended, and will stay this way. Use the mail if you really need to.
- Why would you put it here. It’s a bad idea.
- What exactly would the purpose of this be?
- Get cooler friends, who are all 80, ’cause that number never changes.
