Please. I need to be able to acquire these skins. Please make them available “somewhere, somehow.”

It’s like seeing a cute outfit in a store ad, then finding out “it’s a generic illustration just for our spring lineup” and the store never had it, doesn’t have it now and will never have it.

bikini: likely not going to happen. This was bathgear specially made for npc’s during southsun cove living story.

Sandals: not a clue

Staff: there is a previewcode for them, so it is likely it will be added soon

I do really like the staff. I am hoping they add Marjory’s Axe and Dagger and Kasmeer’s Staff to the gem store as they did with Rox’s bow and quiver and Braham’s mace and shield.

It would be nice to see the swimsuit too, but I think there is some technical barriers in how it would work. The current town clothes system would not be ideal because moving between land and water (something you would expect to be able to do in a swimsuit) currently forces a weapon swap that transitions us out of our town clothes. With the systems we have seen so far, the swimsuit would have to work more like a transformation, like the diving goggles, which means taking up inventory space as opposed to wearing the swimsuit. Still possible, yes, but not really ideal.

If you are a Norn you can have sandals. (Other races need not try)
1. Buy the Cooks outfit
2. Equip the Cook’s shoes
3. ???
4. Sandals

Hey Lolyta :-P I can definitely understand your frustration. I’ve had the same argggggh moments when I see something in game that I want on my character/s.

If there’s any consolation, I think the staff you speak of will make it into game eventually. GW2 Reddit found a chat code for Kasmeer’s staff, it’s:

I hope Kasmeer’s bikini and sandals become available for purchase, and for many other npc’s armor’s for that matter.

Huh, I hadn’t considered that before, but it does make sense. People might not like being unable to buy the swimsuits, but that’s a lot easier to justify than selling them and swapping people out of them the moment they start to swim.
