I play on the Whiteside Ridge server, which is a European English server.
My problem is that we have so many people that simply don’t speak English! I’ve been in groups that were 4/5 Hungarian! They didn’t even talk to me. In WvW we cannot organize ourseles, because half of the people simply don’t understand us.

People that have accounts have signed up, correct? Why don’t you create some statistics and check how many people come from what region and give server an inofficial alignment. It sometimes feels like my server is the inofficial “not really English” server and no one freaking told me.

There is no such thing like “English server”. There are only 13 with a specific language focus.. and no one is English.
Maybe you should learn another languages.. or maybe get over that some people talk another languanges…

See? my native language is not english. But i did my best to comunicate with you. thanks to your corrections, now, i’m smarter.

You should try the same thing.

I am half German, half Greek. So English is also not my native language.
And I wouldn’t have done that, had you not attacked me in the first place.

The international language is English and the fact that some people don’t speak English at all (as you’ve made it seem) tells me that maybe they need more servers for different languages.
And if you don’t feel you fit in on your server you can always switch. I don’t really know which servers have the highest amount of English speakers, but I do know Piken Square doesn’t have many who don’t speak English, not from what I’ve seen at least. Although it’s not a good server if you can’t stand RPers.

Like people already said it’s EUROPE servers, not ENGLISH, the fact that you got into a group with people who were Hungarian and spoke in their native language doesn’t make them guilty. Maybe they speak understand and speak English, just they preferred to speak between themselves, there’s no language restrictions that forbid people to speak in any language.
A bit different thing with WvW, with that I agree with you, EU servers are basically much weaker that DE/FR/US because we have huge division between people with different native languages. but then again, I’m not against people who doesn’t speak English, or doesn’t want to, It’s their decision, they’ve bought the game, they can play as they like, nobody should be forced into something.
@CapN Biku if you make servers with each language the community will be even more separated, we already have servers that have very low population, then it would be even worse case when there’s around 300-500 people on server + each server would require full translation into their language.

Yeah dude, those are European servers, don’t you know you’re supposed to use the European language there?
