Hey all just had this idea.
More Legendary things to work towards besides weapons!?
Legendary Abilities: These abilities are super powerful and can only be obtained through spending grueling hours upon hours of completing tasks, challenges etc
PVP Example: Elementalist gets an ability called Frozen Wrath (Like my creativity
) This ability is for wvw and when activated freezes every enemy within 100 feet for 15 secs. After 15 secs are up the enemies have 33% slowless for an additional 15 seconds On the flipside is has a an hour-45 min cooldown.
PVE/Dungeon Example: Mesmer gets an attack called Continuum of Madness, this ability when activated causes the targeted creature/person to attack the nearest enemy for 30 secs and every time your controlled enemy attacks another enemy they also attack the nearest enemy closest to them with a cap of 10 enemies. Cool down 30-45 min (This would be way to OP for wvw even though it has legendary in the name)(wouldn’t work on bosses)
Legendary Pet Example : Elusive Rift Drake, its basically a young dragon who absorbs 33% of all your damage (until it dies) and has a 15% chance to stun the enemy for 5 secs all the time. Sounds OP but if this was a real legendary pet it would take weeks if not a few months to get.
Legendary Summon: This is my favorite and it could go in any direction but heres an example: Legendary maguuma spirit of healing, this spirit will follow the summoner for 2 min unless the summoner dies, its abilities include healing of 3% life of all friendly targets within 100 feet for every second and if a friendly dies within the 100 feet a spirit leech is born through the dead body and does the reverse of the Maguuma spirit to the enemy taking 3% life per second, the leech has a lifespan of 15 seconds and multiple leeches stack
This would be insane for wvw and would have to have like a 3-4 hour cool down but that’s just my opinion.
