It would be nice to have legendary armor in the game. Even if the creation process is somewhat similar to legendary weapons. Crafting 6 legendaries seems like a daunting task, but I would see it as a long term goal and something to keep me in the game longer. Add an achievement with a great reward such as a legendary weapon of your choosing for completing all 6 armor pieces. I believe that would be a huge motivation for some players to complete the armor set.
You won’t see legendary armor any time soon, you will see Ascended Armor in 2013 for sure though, yes.
