Please bring back this title. I think it should be included as it is one of those hard earned title anyone can get in gw1. I still haven’t finished mine but I would so go back to gw1 if we were allowed to show this title in gw2.

The Failed Defender of Ascalon? Noooo. While it has a certain ring to it, there is just something about it that makes me think it wont be popular.

I guess just, Defender of Ascalon.

Considering the original title holders got it by dying too many times to count, the Legendary part may be referring to that.

I dont mind it saying defender of ascalon but I really like achievement. I mean very few people will have it in game and it provide a uniqueness to it.

Weel I think it could be nice. It was after all one of hardest title to get.
I would personallky like meta title system back – like GWAMM.

Ebonhawk = defenders of ascalon, even though they failed (Ascalon Destroyed). Suggestion: a title referring to a position of merit within the ebonhawk community.

I got that title after they put in the quest system. I would have preferred to gouge my own eyeballs out than getting it by death leveling. Lol. The people who got it that way really deserve the Legendary Defender of Ascalon title. People like me should get a lesser title, Defender of Ascalon. However, the title is set. If they bring it back it should be Legendary Defender of Ascalon. Just because Ascalon fell after you left doesn’t mean you didn’t defend it successfully while you were there.

My 250 year old ancestor got the GWAMM title (God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals) which I am currently wearing. She also got Legendary Defender of Ascalon. If I can wear one, the other is just as relevant.
