Right now any mesmer with a twilight or sunrise is not getting nearly the amount of unique particle effects added to their greatsword weapon animations in comparison to any of the other greatsword using professions. I am currently working on my twilight for my mesmer(which I am far from in terms of gold. mats, and 750g precursor
). But when I do get it. I want it to be just as legendary as it is for warrior,gaurdian, and ranger.
What needs to be done?
1) change special surge so that it has the same colors as twilight or sunrise(red black, orange white.) as well as add some kind of new sound effect, and add more partical effects to it. Some unique to each of the 2 legendarys. Light coming off of sunrise spacial surge, and darkness from twilights spacial surge.
2) make mind stab appear as if when you stab the sword in the ground the tip of the blade appears in the place of the usual mind stab aoe. Also add some unique new partical effects to it.
3) make the berserker hold the greatsword twilight. So when it does its whirlwind attack it is a brutal Beauty to behold as it paints the screen with the color of the sky. Be it night or day.
4) make the illusionary wave the same color as the twilight or sunrise. Also I would like it to be considerably larger in size than the original illusionary wave. And if possible a wave-like sound effect
And that’s basically it. Really the greatsword legendarys for mesmer are really lacking. I would hope that arena net is already working on this. But even so. I have been getting even more worried that my work on my legendary will be in vain if i equip it to my mesmer. which is sad because mesmer is my playstyle,and i should not be punished in looks because mesmer is my playstyle .
