I know you guys will not chance it but it give it a shot anyways.
They should have done it different with the weapon needed for your legendary. make up a story where trough whatever reason your weapon got shattered in pieces and scattered around the world. certain npc’s that found it would want to part from it, they want different type of items for it. Also make it different for every weapon. mayby they want in some case 500 dungeon tokens for it or whatever, or some rare material and who knows some npc wants to let you do a really crazy jumping puzzle that only can be done if you are after that weapon piece. Anyway whatever they could have cooked up, there choice was grind. You would have thought for a USA company they should have known that Western people arent that much in love in grinding like Asian people are.
Also nice side effect from having to travel the world is that not everybody is in ore grinding but they are traveling the game.
Also it doesnt need to be easy you can make it hard thats no problem. Lets say some npc’s are only there on certain days like every even day, and only in the night.
