Let us purchase other orders armor/weapons
I think doing work for the other factions to get their armor/weapons would be a good idea. They could even add some side story to it of some kind of event that is going on at the same time.
You can buy any faction’s weapons, they are kharma bought.
Only the armor is racially locked.
It’ll be nice if each expansion gave you the opportunity to join another order. Up to 4 (including Zaishen because everyone wants to join the Zaishen).
This means we need at least 3 expansions.
If that can’t be done, secondary instanced quests you get after certain points in your story would be a neat way to get them unlocked.
It’s a shame not being able to mix and match them, unless you do some blue item trickery.

You can transmute an item from an order to make it account bound?

You can, if you are lucky and get the glitch to happen, to be able to get a soulbound look to be placed onto a non soulind itemw ithout the item autobinding to you.

I agree and like that idea… mostly because when you choose an order in level 30 or so you have no idea what you are doing… and no idea of the influence it has about the gear you can get… so yep great idea.. should be implemented in my opinion.
I have to disagree with this. There are relatively few pieces of gear that are “locked” from you, and while its not a bad thing that you can get most any gear you want, I do think there should be some limited items. Order gear is one of the few and I think it should remain that way.
The game makes it relatively clear that what order you join is permanent, so flip-flopping just to buy another orders’ armor would be silly. And the orders selling their “uniforms” to people not in the order wouldn’t make much sense either.
Where do you actually buy the order armors from?
Each order’s headquarters will have an armor vendor that sells it.
I also vote for this change. After complete story mode we should be able to buy any order armor, no matter if for karma or gold or tokens etc. I too dont want to make second guardian only to have option there to use armor from another order.
Or just do all orders armor Account bound, not soulbound. This way u wont have to restric each char to one armor and player can combine sets. Give us some freedom with this armor. I dont like where MMO lock me from some content, like this.
