I am colombian, and i want the god kitten page in english, Classical Spanish (spain) is Terrible, i want to have the page in english, i have tried 5 times chaging the language of the home page from /es to /en but it kkeps chaging me to /es or worst /es/en and it sends me an error message, i am really stressed about this, I HATE IT, so plz PLZ let us select our own homepage language, and if we can, plz tell me how t do it!!!!!!

I think that the language is automatically selected based on your IP. If the primary language of your country is French, German or Spanish, it puts it there, otherwise English.

I do not seem to have that problem even though I am connecting from one of the aforementionned countries.
My best guess is that the site is tracking you and your language settings via cookie.
If you are using Firefox as a browser you might successfully get defaulted to /en if you enable “Tell websites that I do not want to be tracked” in privacy options. You can also try to set the “keep cookies” option to until I close Firefox.
I use both those options and have never been defaulted to anything but the english forums.
Additionally i use a bookmark (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum) to access the forums directly but I just tried from the main site (after restarting firefox) and still got to /en forums.

I got a similar problem. I prefer the english homepage but I’m redirected to german every time I try to access the homepage. It works for the forum but I just can’t get to the english hompage. I would really appreciate if we weren’t forced to use a certain language just because the site is tracking us down. I’m not using firefox as main browser and there is no real work around for the browser I use.
