Premise; Currently you can make your characters with Æ in your name and that is great. It’s nice to have an option to name your character Æragorn instead of Aragorn. Gives more room.

But could you also allow us to make use of the letters Ø and Å? They are very dear letters to me. In fact it’s some of the best letters ever made, and they should be in GW2.

I wanted to use an ö in a character name and couldn’t.
Hard to be a <name>+björn without it.

I thought you could use Ä, Ö and ß in names, at least you could in beta? :O But yeah, it’s really weird that Å isn’t allowed if ß is considering how many languages that use Å: Swedish, danish, norwegian, finnish, sami, walloon, north frisian etc etc.

I tried to whisper to a player with that Æ in his name, but it didn’t let me do that for some reason. I am using a US keyboard so I can’t type these letters manually

I know for a fact that you can use ‘Æ’ and ‘ä’ as my warrior has them in her name; I wanted an authentic viking name for my Norn and needed those letters.

For example, Æ is alt-0198 (hold down the alt key while typing 0198; when you release the alt key the character will appear).
