This mainly applies to Thief and Necromancer, it would change the way some of there healing skills work.

Life Stealing is now effected by Condition Damage. (this makes sense because condition damage ignores armor, and so does life stealing.)

(This means all traits that steal life, are improved based on the condition damage of the thief or necromancer.)

Thief
Signet of Malice – Now also steals life.
(This would allow the thief a bit more builds and backbone in SPVP.)
5% of all condition damage, increases the heal of Signet of Malice.

Necromancer
All traits that steal or drain life, are now effected by Condition Damage.

HUGE fix, this would give necromancers a lot more viable builds.

Why healing power? it does damage more then heals., it should be condition damage.

I would like it to scale with something. And it will likely never scale with healing power to avoid an OP necro. Imagine top health, stacked toughness, 2 health bars, and regular near constant siphon enhanced with HP. I think it would be very difficult to kill a well necro with all that going for him.

Numerous life stealing skills already scales with healing power, but for some reason many of the necro’s traits that siphon life do not scale for what I can only imagine is a bug. If they did we might actually see some necro’s who actually spec into their blood line.

Having played around with life stealing builds i can easily say it just doesn’t work, here’s why:

1. Life Steal doesn’t drain health from your opponent, so its all down to your weapon/skills to do all the damage and if your using a life steal build your wanting to use daggers. Signet of Malice also doesn’t steal health, its health on attack.

2. Daggers suck for necromancer, it puts you in melee combat almost constantly with only 1 immobilize and no cripples you’re chasing after targets and being unable to catch them.

3. You have to put 30 points into Blood if you’re doing a Necro drain build so you can pick up : Bloodthirst, Vampiric Precision & Dagger Mastery/Quickening Thirst. This is alot of talents to put into healing power, yes some of the Life Steal skills scale with healing but they don’t heal enough to keep you alive.

4. Sigil of Superior Blood is 30% chance on Crit (Requires high precision) every 2 Seconds. Also dosn’t heal very well and when you are in a high aoe situation it dosn’t end well. Vampiric Precision is also steal on crit which means you need a high crit build which lowers your survivability quite drastically.

so along with constant evade and mass aoe bleed stacking you want deathblossom thieves to get big heals from condit scaling aoe lifestealing?
