If this has already been discussed then I apologize.

I really like the option of depositing all of my collectibles from my bag with the click of a button, but there are some I would like to keep, i.e.: crystals, spores. I was thinking maybe there was a way you could add a lock function to some of the bag slots, so I could still use the cool option of deposit all.

That already exists by means of Invisible Bags though. You can keep what you don’t want to deposit in one. Tis the best way to keep minis around, for instance. A lock-item option while convenient would be redundant, making the existence and therefore commerce of Invisible Bags pointless.
