I think it would be neat if we could show off our achievements and progress towards them in chat.

It’s a nice idea and in theory is very attractive. Unfortunately this is bait for the Elitists to bar newbies from dungeon runs. As soon as this becomes available you’ll see posts like this:

LFM [insert dungeon here] Ach or no inv

It’s bad enough that people are likely to kick you if you admit that you’re new and don’t know what to do. At least though, you can get into a group right now and hope that you don’t screw up too bad. With a change like this, it’s quite possible that you will never get invited in the beginning.
