Guild Wars 2

Here are some ideas for the game. I know some of these have already been suggested but anyway ill do this because im open to the possibility it might affect something positively. I thinked of all of these ideas as the kind that wont affect the game in a bad way. (in my opinion)

undergound pub with arena under lions arch:
simply a pub under lions arch. You could sit at some tables and drink booze, or go to the huge arena which is right next to it. I think many people would really enjoy something like this. You could duel there with people. These are very little changes that could make this game a lot better.

mounts (not available in dungeons):
- pve normal mounts like armored moas or something like that.
- pve flying mount after completing world map 100% (so you can’t fly to vistas) maybe a little dragon? (and yes, i mean you can fly anywhere you want, even above the clouds. Why not just let people fly on the sky? flying is fun. I haven’t seen cool flying system in any mmorpg, so why not do it?) Also, just disable flying mounts while in guild missions or don’t let players fly to places you don’t want them to. Just be open and customize these ideas to suit the game.
- if for wvw then it should be done in a way it doesn’t make wvw worse. (obviously, no flying mounts and people with mounts can’t be any faster or better than the ones without mounts) this could be probably done by not making mounts faster than what your character already is. You could maybe fight on the back of the mount but it would not make you stronger than without the mount.

dragons
- make dragons move and do more attacks instead of just making them stand where they are. For example. tequatl could jump around there is huge space there for it to do it, and it would look so cool. Make some kind of code that makes them fly in randomly generated way and in a certain area and behave in a certain way in certain conditions and hp amount. There are so many things you could do: make jormag move more and in one point there would be 5 second time for players to try climb on his back and then fight on his back while its flying. The dragons in the game at the moment are not dragons, they are boring robots standing.

rename guild:
- you could simply rename your guild from the guild settings like editing guild emblem.

change race:
- there was a asura who claimed to have built a machine that could transform you to another race. but no one believed it so the players have to prove that by doing some event chains. Then there would be couple of weeks time to change your race, or this
could be permanent. Ofc this could be done in many other ways, like the character name change which you can buy.

new race:
- hylek (with matrix sunglasses, how cool is that)

some other ideas:
- wvw has own traits separately like pvp (i have to change them 5 times everyday since i do dungeons and wvw)
- more armor skins for lots of more customization. (hire some more art makers.)
- more funny and stronger bosses in pve. (something challenging, like 10 lupicus combined, i mean why not? some people really need a challenge right now, everything in pve is way too easy. those who would say its hard could just do the easy ones)
- more wvw maps just for fun, really unique dark forests for example. different scenarios to make the game more interesting.
- more and more and more customization. customization of the characters is one of the most important things. /maybe create some kind of system which allows players to create a look that no other can have)

these are only some ideas to throw in the air which could make this game funnier and more enjoyable.

Im not sure how the games work or is it all about the money. But i hope that there are some really passionate people there making this game better and that they would listen to our ideas. Underground black lion pub with arena would be really good thing, i tell you now. really, really good. i think many people would enjoy it.

AND most importantly we probably live only once so yeah, what are we waiting for? lets make this game better!

Underground pub, yeah I could see that happening at some point when they have nothing better to do.

Mounts, no, there will never be mounts and I wish people would stop asking.

There should be a guild rename option if there isn’t one already in the gem store. (I have no idea if there is or not)

No race change.

As for the Hylek, I’d love to see the Hylek, but for the love of god no gimmicky sun glasses. Besides the only sun glasses in game are one from the gem store I believe that can only be worn in town…. so no.

After that I stopped reading and honestly wondered if I was being trolled or not.

I laugh at reactions. They can put in NES junk, pop culture junk, baffling junk, and its all good.

Mention mounts and the same people who cheer everything suddenly go into rage deny mode.

the reason they can’t do race changes is because a character’s race is integral to the beginning of the personal storyline. granted, once it reaches the point where it becomes trahearne’s personal storyline, nothing about our characters means crap anymore. but race does affect quite a bit before that happens. being able to change your race would cause a lot of problems there.

That’s a point but, they could just let you re do the personal story. The race change could include everything like:

“race choice”
“style rework”
“name change”
“personal story redo”( you must choose your story again and play through the whole story again.

Cultural armor could just be changed to the other races cultural aswell since all have t1 -t3.

It’s just to much afford required for some players to reroll a class just because of style, especially when they own a legendary or mass skins from the one time events.

It wouldn’t effect other players.

If Tyria was as free-roaming as, say, Warcraft’s Azeroth then it’s be a perfectly reasonable suggestion to ask for some form of transport to ‘bridge the gap’ between one point and another, but as GW2 already has a waypoint system and smaller play zones, the inclusion of mounts is just not necessary.

I don’t see anything bad in running in pve with mounts even though there are wps, and you really didnt think that there could be instances and areas without wp:s just for mounting? There are so many things that could be done, just gotta be open enough. As i said ‘’Just be open and customize these ideas to suit the game.’’

in wvw there could be separate area without wp:s for mount wars or something. Think about players riding wild boars or armored moas, fun stuff.

Of course i understand there can be much more important things to update and develop at the moment but these are just things that could be included some day. I wouldn’t personally mind any of these.
