We can have neutral Dredges taking over keeps randomly and stay there till they are wiped out of it.

Picture this:
Some curious hero who must touch everything and can’t keep their hands to themselves, happened to be curious about ogres. Hordes of ogres tearing up keeps from one end of the map to the end in search of the person responsible for touching their daughters, demanding ten human commanders to each ogre daughter as bridegroom or they lay waste their keeps. Heroes can offer salads… Sylvaris to appease these rampaging ogres as an offer too, or Charrs for cattles, milking Charrs for strong nutritiousness stuff. Ogres do not accept offers of Azuras and Norns as Azuras are too whiny and Norns are too good looking…

We can have hundred of ogres starting out from their camp tearing up keeps from one end of the map to the next and back.

If no one fix the holes left by those invading dredges for a while, Skrits will start stealing the keep’s supple.

Picture this:
While you are feeling great about dominating your enemies on the battle field, you start to hear those around you crying for their mums and running all over the place instead of fighting and you feel smoking hot at the same time.

A dragon randomly attacking any keep and stay in the keep till it is vanquished.

Picture this:
“We have enough of you useless heroes making a mess out of the keep!” Workers union taking over keeps using the armaments build against the heroes and whatever they can use to throw the heroes out, and finally nailing a door sign telling heroes to get the eff out and stay out.

If a keep gets controlled by different servers too often and not of a same server for a duration. Workers take over the keep till it is taken back.

All these can keep things alive and interesting instead of the monotonous- “You pat my left butt cheek, now I am gonna pat your right butt cheek.” “What? you harassing both my butt cheeks, thats not right. I am gonna pat both your butt cheeks.” “With tactics of course…” “Actually I’ll just zerg rush both your butt cheeks…”
