"Locking" a target.
/signed totally for this…. absolutely hate this too… and so far it happens so often that you simply loose ur target.. or often its very hard to get a target at all, especialyl when many enemies are very near to each other or so..
Why can#t it just be so simple, that by pressing Control and T, that your character will automatically target the enemy, that is nearest to you and KEEPS permanently the target, until the enemy is either dead, or the player presses Control and T again to change the target to the next nearby enemy or if Control and then T gets pressed longer, than 2 seconds, that you just end targeting something…
Shouldn’t be so hard to change this ..
Easier way to change this is to lock the camera look so that when you dont have to press your second mouse button to turn your screen.
Totally agree. small things like this would make it A LOT more convenient for the player. Just because I’m looking a different direction doesn’t mean I want to change targets. clicking on a target should be enough for locking on…
It would make the game feel a lot more like an action game, and it would make those who wish to use a controller instead of a mouse quite happy as well. I probably won’t use it if it does happen, I prefer to always have control of where my camera points.
I would enjoy this as well. Most of the time I end up attacking things I’m not targeting anyways because my target was unfocused… And I had no control over it.
Not even fighting creatures that stealth.
