Guild Wars 2

Just like in Guild Wars 1, when I press F12 I’m prompted with the question “Are you sure you want to log out?” and the three options of “Log Out”, “Character Select”, or “Cancel”. But unlike Guild Wars 1, there aren’t hotkeys corresponding to those options. Please add those hotkeys to this game, they were very useful to those of us that switch characters often.

I miss being able to drag menu buttons out onto your screen and being able to click them directly from there. Would be cool if they brought that feature back.

Eh, I can see where it would be useful(since I used that in GWs myself) but here I think it would become an issue since then people could log out right before they die in PvP/WvW/PvE and save the hassle of dying; but if they did go with your idea, as long as they made it so we have to be out of battle for X seconds, then I think it’d work fine.

I can already exploit it the way it is. It takes 0.12 seconds for me to press F12 and click logout according to my stopwatch. A hotkey might be faster for some people, but so fast that it’s extra-exploitable? I doubt it.

It’s a good idea, and gets a +1 from me.

How about an option in the Options for ‘Fast Logout’ that would exit the game without any prompt?

I think they already considered that. If you log out while downed, you’ll be dead when you reappear.

it would be exploited in pvp there already player that abuse the log out system to avoid death. however if there was a delay on your char staying log in before you log out i all for this idea

Since Taobella’s and hahawinner’s concerns has been addressed since they were posted, I’m ressing this thread.
