I would love if pets would pick up loot for us. I have played a game in the past that did have loot pets and I loved it. They were micro transaction items just like the mini(pets) in GW2. I personally find it to be a bit frustrating when you are in a large group event like Clockwork Chaos and because there are so many people, you can not see or find your loot. It would also help with loot lost because you died before you could pick it up. Anyone else like this idea?

Not really, just turn on aoe loot and your problem is solved. And i’m pretty sure the dev team have stated that pets do not and will not give the player any advantage, they are purely for aesthetics.
