I’d like to address the troubling concern that your new player base is missing out on so much of the living story. At this new pace of pumping out new content every 2 weeks (kudos to the team for that) alot of the new players don’t know whats going on, and worse yet don’t know how to find out whats going on. My suggestion is the creation of a LoreMaster. There’s a wonderful library in DR, why not use it. Set him up there, give him his own little icon and let him tell the story of Tyria. This way new players or even returning players can talk to this guy and see what they have missed.

LoreMaster: (can make one in each city)
-Contain Information of Events that have gone about in tyria from the living story.
-Can give players books that contain cutscenes from the events like the one we were given for Dragon Bash.

PS: The “personal story corner”. You can also use him to get you out of the personal story corner you’ve backed yourself into. Alot of the world can’t move forward because of the tie in with the personal story that is already set in the game. Thou it will require alot of rework, you can have the LoreMaster tell of the battle of Zhaitan and the brave adventures that brought him down. From there you can let players play that story line thru the LoreMaster and throw Arah dungeon into the fractal. But this is long term expansion ideas, thus ill leave it for now. puts a pin in it
