Some servers are really starting to get deserted. I think it’s important for the future of Guild Wars 2 that some action is taken. I suggest hese.

- Information about server activity
Choosing server, or world selection, you get information about the server population, medium, high or very high is the current options. I’ve previously seen a dev stating that this information tells us how many accounts made that particular server their home server. With a lot of inactive accounts the actual server activity is what matters when choosing a home for your heroes – making it a whole lot easier to choose when based on a more accurate information. (I do realize that with the new guest feature one can actually do some research self, but more could be done in this direction)

- Merging low population servers
If we could start merging the servers with low popularity or rather low activity the problem could be rapidly solved. Many are reporting unfair WvW match-ups where the one team will win the whole war in numbers, not necessarily by strategy or other strenghts. I do realize the possible problem if all these accounts for some reason should be active again and the server could be overloaded. – maybe therefore deleting some servers and then giving people on that server a free transfer to a new server would be a better solution. Lot of potential problems here but I think all in all it will be worth it.

High populated servers allows
- fast dungeon queues
- public group events to actually be done
- awesome wars in WvW
- chances of finding a fitting guild
- getting help
- meeting random bypassing people.
Overall a better gaming experience – for most people.

I actually posted this to another forum, but realizing this is a better place i reposted it here.
