This maybe sound wierd.. i dont know, but i care alot about the looks of my character, and i love the cultural armor pieces, i really do.. but they cost me a month of savings.. and thats just T1 gear.. theres no way i ever gonna get the T2 or T3 for my characthers with these prices :s and it saddens me a bit.. cuz i like the looks.. really alot.
If others feel the some, support this a bit. I just hope for a change here.

Most gear is already fairly easy to get, diluting the appeal of the better looking armors. Tier 2 isn’t much more expensive than Tier 1. Tier 3 is very expensive, yes, but it should be rare or it loses its appeal. I don’t agree with this.

T3 seems just not worth the cost, imho.

The cultural armors aren’t really that special. So I don’t understand why they are so incredibly expensive.

T3 culural is more a status armor than anything else much like Obsidian armor was in Guild Wars 1 . Its there to show off wealth

I think the prices for the t3 should be lowered. Stats wise, its nothing special (only rare), and it takes about 3 months of active saving (considering u would earn about a gold per day) to earn it. Paying that much for the skins is kinda silly.

For me the appeal of the armor is in looks of the armor, not the cost of the armor. Making it cost more does not make me want it more.

I didn’t like the entire set of any cultural tier for my main, I liked a mix of t1/t2/ and the coat of t3. I haven’t bought any of it because of the cost of the t3 piece. By the time I could afford to spend that much just for looks, I’ll have something I like just as well from elsewhere. I expect that I will buy cultural on those characters that I like the T1 set in. I may get T2 if I don’t like the T1 set. I predict I will not get T3 on any unless the money acquiring ability of my characters changes somehow.

Buy gems with cash, support A-net in this way and sell them in TP. The fastest way of getting 100g for tier 3.

it’s not even max armor and crafting an exotic set yourself is much cheaper

Ronah.2869 – yeah, no. I already “supported” arena net by purchasing the game and some gems.

If I decide to spend more money on gems, it will be for premium items you cant get any other way, not for wasting them on gold.

Beside that, you completely missed the point. As it is, cultural T3 is totally overpriced.
