Do you have any idea how many times I’ve had to explain this boss fight, whilst other bosses take a line or two, explaining this guy takes 3 paragraphs, make this boss fight a hint that activates when you get there for the first time, and mention that he appears in all arah path, I know you can read the wiki and read guides, which I did, but people don’t, and I’ve also seen more than 1 version of explainations, we also need names for his attacks, and make a bold statement emphasising how much damage his attacks do.
Really won’t take a lot of time to make this but it would save many people a lot of writing in the future.

Just tell those people to read the wiki or go out again. Anyone who doesn’t prepare himself for a dungeon like arah needs to go back to the Bedroom he came from.

I think a worse problem with the boss fight is simply that it relies on trial and error so much. A lot of the moves and mechanics are poorly communicated. If you watch someone else do it on youtube, it’s perfectly clear. But that should never be a requirement for any boss fight. It is okay for a boss fight to demand some preparation, but when you lose to a boss it should be clear what you did wrong. A lot of bosses in the game have this issue, where you suddenly find yourself dead on the ground. That’s because there is poor communication to inform the player which attacks need to be avoided (because they are one-shot kills) and which are normal attacks.

In general I do like the mechanics of Lupicus, because he is one of the few bosses that can be easily killed on pure skill. I just think learning to deal with him is mostly made hard due to poor communication. And that’s the kind of difficulty I severely dislike.

I think there is also the problem of when you’re standing outside the red circles and you still get hit, it’s so annoying, and yeah, the lupi fight needs a lot of training.

His auto attacks bounce around without a red circle, so you have to look at him and react when he throws one, they are perfectly visible, I had no problems. Also, even with Zerker Gear and 18,9k HP I manage to survive atleast on mistake and heal myself up again.
