This makes the mace autoattack more responsive and more of a defensive weapon, the 3rd chain of the mace blocks all attacks for 1 second. The new ‘2’ weapons foes.
Traits
Sundering Mace:
Mace damage is increased by 10%. Reduces cooldown of mace skills by 20%
Mace damage is increased by another 5% when a foe is weakened.
Remove Cull the Weak as a trait.

1/2 1/2 3/4 would make that the fastest chain warriors have… the numbers in the tooltips aren’t accurate. Mace does need an increase in attack speed though.
Also, I think weakness needs to last a bit longer.
The 1 and 2 chains should weaken so mace can apply it quicker.

Well, technically your swinging a club, it should be the fastest. Maces weren’t known for there finesse. Bashing someone in the face with a bat isn’t slow.

It is when the ball is so heavy and you have to swing it so hard to permanently warp your enemys armor. Thats rl vs. gl though.
The mace chain should be able to be completed in full before a full adrenaline stun wears off imo.

Well, technically your swinging a club, it should be the fastest. Maces weren’t known for there finesse. Bashing someone in the face with a bat isn’t slow.
Axe chain has multiple strikes per “attack”, but the chain itself is fairly long (3.5 sec).
I think reducing the time it take to execute the whole mace chain by 1 sec should make mace a much more viable option (will put it just above sword for direct damage builds).
Giving the auto attack a mini-block would make it unique.
I have actual combat expirience with IRL maces, so both your opinions about speed are only half-true. Its not the “strike” with mace that is slow, its “recovery”. Now, IMO, only the 3rd strike in mace chain could be a little faster, without that stop on the top of trajectory (it looks like my big and strong charr is already tired just from 2 swings omfg).
Mini-block would be nice on 2nd attack in the chain, though i alredy find it very hard to use mace in PvP, but in pve its fine combined with offhand sword (you can solo champ abomination with some practice)
I agree. I would like to see Culling the Weak rolled into Sundering Mace.
