As the title says, I think that every holiday item should be account bound so any of your current and future characters could use them.
I’m playing a warrior as my main and I’m sure many players like me who play a melee type of class got that book (which looks awesome by the way) and are thinking of getting that book on their Mesmer/Necromancer/Elementalist alt aswell~
I plan on playing one of those in the future which means I need to prepare myself and get that book while I can and this is where it starts to get problematic because think of it this way:
-I have to create a new character and choose a class which I think I might like better. (Mesmer/Necromancer/Elementalist)
-I have to rush that character through high level zones and waste alot of time and effort due to instant deaths.
-I might get bored with the class I chose after a while.
Creating all 3 mage classes is not a real solution; you waste 3 character slots for the book and end up sticking to the one class you like best out of the three. (Not to mention that I need to get that book 4 times in total going by that “solution”)
Don’t tell me I’m just being lazy because this has nothing to do with being lazy.. I’m probably gonna gamble on which class I might like better and get that book again but please remember that this is how soulbound holiday items are ruining my experience and I’m sharing my thoughts to see if other people have the same issue with this.
Overall, In my opinion having account bound holiday items instead of soulbound ones is better and I should mention that Anet already made this awesome decision on the Devil Horns which are account bound.
