Good day to all, maibe it was made already, maibe not, thing is ppl still are in a hole whit this “atribute” (Magic Find).
I am personaly unaware of any changes made by this “MF” so as example il take miself :
Warr lvl 80 whit :
Explorer’s Gladiator Set = 18% MF
Rune of the Pirate = 50% MF
Superior Sigil of Luck = 15% MF
Omnomberry Tarts = 30% MF
———————————————————————
Total = 113% MF
Changes :
-From my point of view NONE, farmed mats (fangs/blood/claws) the drop is the same, green/rare/exotic items didnt see any change drop rate same ALMOST NONE.
Conclusion :
-Useless waste of time durability/survivability as the stats of the set/weap are not using any vitality/toughness, waste of gold investing in all of this not much but still.
Players info about this “atribute” MF :
-Some say that you have for example :
*40% chance for Basic items
*30% chance for Fine items
*15% chance for Masterwork
*5% chance for Rare
*1% for Exotic
And that “this thing [useless MF]” increases these chances.
-Some say that you have for example :
*Just more “Luck” like the name of the sigil [btw that name is not put there for nothing] to get it and its not linked to the % of overall drop.
And mostly what i heard it affects ONLY the drops from MOBS.
Not from chests/salvage and other, no this things are not affected by MF.
OFF EXAMPLE :
-Farming arctodus for 30min whit non-MF set = 22 Fangs
-Farming arctodus for 30min whit MF set = 18 Fangs …
Basicaly what i want to say is THE THING IS BROKEN, i played other MMORPG and i know about luck/chance/% but this thing here is out of this world i mean, i have better chances to tell the arctodus that il give him cookies in order to give me more mats and still get more [trolling will say yea give him cookies then].
Basicaly the suggestion is for Anet (or ArenaNet) how would they like it better to be called, to put a Forum Topic dunno at info at home page or wherever they want whit the info about this Magic Find so we know better if its useless or rly useless …
