Sending mail need to have confirmation before sending specially when you mistype the name of the person you are going to send the item. I tried to send my friend an armor so i type his name and it appear then when i click the name appeared from my list its switched to another name and i thought i send the right person but it seems that i send it to the wrong person with the starting letter of the name same with my friend.. So at least putting some confirmation sending to this person would help..
