Mailing
a more prudent fix would be to allow mass emails.
add a drop down menu to the ’To:" with options like: Guild , Party ,and Add another Recipient(or at least the ability to add a comma or semi colon to the field separating names, so you can send to more than one at a time)
Another point is that you can give everyone in your party cookies right now without a email….
all you need to do is craft the recipe for the Tray of Chocolate Cookies in the Mystic Forge, using these items : Elonian Wine, Arcane Crystals, Mystic Coins, Chocolate Chip Cookies….the exact amount for each will be told to you once you place one of each in the forge.
The only reason they set up the email system to not allow for mass emails now is Bots. Can you imagine how much easier it would be on Gold Sellers to spam the living Kitten outta everyone with emails about their websites.
So I don’t see them fixing your request, so your best option is to learn the “Tray’s”.
I get why we have this system in place. I have no issues with that.
I’m not suggesting infinite mailing, just to raise the cap from 2 to 4. That way we can send pots/food/whatever to our party members without the need to wait.
If you want to mass-spam 4 is still infinitesimally small number (same as 2) but if you want to legitimately send something to your party members you can. So i don’t, in all honesty, see the reason why they wouldn’t increase the cap to 4.
I tried trays (I have several of them unlocked on my chef just for the fun of it) but they just don’t cut it. What I mean is they don’t work with cross-server parties unless they’re spawned in the dungeon (not sure if you can do it, never really tried). But then you beat the whole point of trays and that’s to have a bunch of people take food from it – like placing one in LA.
And also, can you imagine eating a cookie in Arah, surrounded by the undead and minutes/seconds before you march to your own death.
Trays in an instance just don’t feel right for me.
