Gain +.1% swiftness each time you kill a foe. (Max 25 stacks; ends on down.)
= 25% swiftness

This way all professions can benefit from runspeed, not just a few out there.

Actually no, it would amount to +2.5%.

You would need +1% for it to be 25%.

And for the record, every profession has a Swiftness The only one not on that page is Thief, and they get Signet of Shadows

And this would also affect some races in a negative manner. For example, a big part of using Warhorn as your offhand weapon has to do with the Swiftness boon that Warhorn 4 gives.

Well you dont HAVE to add the sigil you know, if your character already benefits or wont need it.
But some classes like the mesmer suffer from really slow movement. The offhand curtain that we have isnt really helpfull.
Having the option to become faster is imo a good thing.

Superior Sigil of Kormir- You no longer need to tag mobs other players kill to obtain chance at loot. You also always earn Gold Medal for any DE simply by being nearby.

Sorry, I couldn’t resist. >< Back on topic, I think that the Swiftness on Kill sigil is enough. I think it works on critters too. There is also Bowl of Seaweed Salad that grants a 60% chance on kill to give swiftness. I’m unsure if these two durations stack, but if they do then that’s more then enough swiftness in conjunction with class skills. I really do wish that as a mesmer the curtain swiftness stacked with other sources.

Knowledge is power.
