Yes lets make Fractal level account wide, so when you work on your Level 20 profession 80 then you switch to your other 80 that has yet to do it and has no agony resist that should go over well.
You can still join a highlvl fractal with a toon that yet to do any fractal runs at all if you want currently, but obviously up to the player to ensure you have the proper AR for it (and relics are account bound anyway so not a problem there) so your point is?
OP you realize that if you farm Ascended for your other 80’s and get AR 15 for them, then it doesn’t matter if your level 1 and go into a level 30 fractals. you still gain level and you aren’t " I cant muster the energy to grind it anymore with the same toons over and over. "
Unless of course level 30 is just so grinding, then why are you doing it.
So in short the fact that Fractal level should be account bond makes no sense, if your complaining about pugs and gear drops then my suggestion stop running in pugs and get a guild run. If you can’t and you insist on running pugs that is your choice suck it up
yes you can join a lvl 30 run, but you wont get lvl 30 rewards untill you done it 30 times on that same toon
My first statement was sarcastic.
Secondly this was a thread about having to grind through level 1 to say 30 and like you said you can join higher level fractals, even if your lower level. They have already made Ascended gear account bound, personally I have no issues with having a separate level for each character. So you don’t get the rewards for level 30 as a level 1, not the end of the world… at least you don’t have to start at level 1 and have bad groups of players that don’t know what they are doing. With a full set of Ascended and AR15 you have a choice to run fractals of any level and it makes leveling to that higher level faster.
Also if the OP have stacks of rings/ accessory’s piling up in his bank and then complaining about it I ask this.
Why are you spending your pristine on stuff you don’t need? I don’t know try saving them so when other gear comes out you can get them.
So many people like to complain that everything is not just handed to them, and as I see this Thread from the OP I see someone crying about having to work for something. You hate the grind don’t do it, you don’t have to do fractals. If you already have the ascended gear then you don’t need to do it at all. The OP is making a choice to run it on separate toons he is not being forced to, ergo your payment for having to make that choice is a grind from level 1 to your desired level. This thread suggestion reminds me of people that say
“Well I have a level 80 and I don’t feel like leveling another toon again, that is boring, you should just let me be Level 80 automatically if I already have a level 80”
